Speed-Clear PRO With Level-IT

SPEED-CLEAR PRO ( NOT FOR THE NOVICE)  a quick and economical way to bring life back to the weathered, faded and scratched paint on your vehicle without a full blown paint correction. 

Representing the very latest in restoration coatings, SPEED-CLEAR PRO not only applies extremely easy, filling in light scratches and scuffs, bringing the gloss back to the neglected and damaged paint, but when fully cured, is also more scratch resistant than our original SPEED-CLEAR, as well as being extremely hydrophobic. Even though it's very hydrophobic on it's own and additional ceramic coating is not needed, it can be ceramic coated to boost the protection and add slickness. 

While we love NU-CLEAR, SPEEDCLEAR, and SPEED-CLEAR PRO and we think you will too, we want to be absolutely clear on the fact that these are not "miracle products" and WILL NOT repair every single scratch or blemish on your vehicle. These coatings are made primarily for the mobile repair technician, to make their job easier when performing front-line service for used car dealerships, helping them improve the vehicle's appearance by 80-90 percent. 

These coatings are PERFECT for the detailer with customers who want their vehicles to look better, but they don't want the higher costs that come with a full-blown paint correction. They're perfect with very thin clear coats, where an aggressive paint correction may not be possible. 

They're also PERFECT for those who don't own a buffer or are not comfortable using one themselves.

Any bigger rock-chips or scratches not filled in by NU-CLEAR, SPEED-CLEAR, or SPEED-CLEAR PRO can be touched up after the application, if so desired. The resins contained in these coatings acts as an adhesion promoter, helping the touch-up paint to bond with the surface better.

 HOW TO USE:

Proper prep is critical, you will not get the desired results and longevity if not properly prepped. Surface must be clean and dry for application. Wipe down with a wax and grease remover or panel prep to remove any initial contaminants.

 Use an aggressive clay bar to remove any contaminants that may be bonded to the surface. The aggressive clay bar creates micro marring/abrasions, which actually helps give the coating more adhesion. 

After claying, buff surface with a heavy cut compound and heavy cut buffing pad for what we call a mechanical bond. This part of the process will eliminate 99 % of your surface contamination leaving a squeaky clean surface for the perfect application.

 Wipe panel down one last time with Level IT. This will slightly and temporarily soften the original clear coat, allowing the original clear and the new SPEED-CLEAR PRO to bond chemically.

You can add up to a 60/40 mixture of Level IT to Speed Clear PRO to make the application process easier.

 The accelerator, SPEED-SHOT, is not mandatory, but we highly recommend using it, unless you're coating the vehicle inside and are not in a hurry for it to become dry to the touch and start to cure. Apply a heavy coat of SPEED-CLEAR PRO to the panel in side to side motions, from one side of the panel to the other, overlapping each pass by about 50% and keep working the wet edge. Completely coat the panel. Look at the panel from several angles, checking that you've not missed any spots. SPEED-CLEAR PRO will flow out, self-level and start to cure. Once you're satisfied with your work, leave the vehicle to dry/cure for several hours. Keep the vehicle dry for the first few days, while the coating is fully curing, to avoid any issues caused by moisture.

Depending on application conditions, WITH SPEED-SHOT, you should be dry to touch in 15-20 minutes. WITHOUT SPEED-SHOT, it may be an hour or more.
